On 2nd and 9th of June there will be two concerts with contemporary music of students from Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
My „Pater noster” for mixed choir will be performed by a vocal sextet.
28th of May in the Concert Hall of Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, there will be presented again my „Ostende mihi” for choir mixed, among other pieces of Warsaw contemporary composers.
Tomorrow at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw is an Opening Concert of the Students’ Days Juwenalia Artystyczne.
This time the main theme of all the concerts is a traditional and folk music.
On the Opening Concert a student orchestra and a choir from Fryderyk Chopin University of Music will play three suits, specially written for this occasion – one of them is my „A Jewish Suite”, where traditional jewish motives are presented.
A klezmer band BUM BUM ORKeSTAR, who is a special guest, will play jointly with the orchestra and choir.

Listen to my „Ostende mihi” performed by students’ choir from Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw – an excerpt from the Contemporary Choral Music Concert:
In cooperation with the Choral conducting Department
we organise a concert with new choral music, written by students from the University. My Ostende mihi is among pieces to be performed during the concert.
Ostende mihi won a honorable mention and the award „Composer in residence” of Poznan Chamber Choir in composers’ contest Opus 966 in 2016.
The concert will be held in Concert Hall of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw on 18th of March, 7:30 pm.
19th of December 2016 almost 450 children from 19 choirs took part in the Final Concert of „Śpiewająca Polska” (Singing Poland) project. They performed my „Pieśń radości” („Song of joy”), written specially for this occasion.
19th of December a special concert will take a place in Filharmonia i Opera Podlaska in Białystok. It is the 10th Anniversary of the project „Śpiewająca Polska” (Singing Poland), conducted by Akademia Chóralna.
19 choirs of youth from kindergarten till high school (around 450 children) in the final part of the concert will make together a world premiere of piece „Pieśń radości” (Song of joy), dedicated to this occasion.
Last Wednesday, June 8th, in Toruń was held a concert with new contemporary music, dedicated to John Paul II, entitled „Pięciolinia dla Papieża”, celebrating an anniversary of Pope’s visit in Toruń in 1999.
Among the pieces was my „Clair de lune” to Victor Hugo’s poem, performed by Aleksandra Świderek (soprano) and Wojciech Sarba (piano).
This time there will be a premier of Kyrie eleison for choir a capella. The concert will be held on May 19th in Academy of Music Concert Hall. The conductor is Michaił Cherniak.
